Assigment for Vallourec

27 January 2020

Rhenania recently acquired two new assignments.  The first project started at the end of November and concerns the coating of 12.5km of pipeline for Hurricane Energy.  The second project will start in January 2020 and will cover 32.5 km for Shell.  Both projects are carried out for Vallourec.  This French multinational company is one of the most important seamless pipeline manufacturers worldwide.
End customers Hurricane Energy and Shell operate oil and gas fields in the North Sea.  The pipeline that is being coated for Hurricane Energy will soon be deployed in the Greater Warwick Area (GWA) west of the Shetland Islands.  The project for Shell concerns the Pierce field that lies to the east of the Scottish Sea in Aberdeen.
